One Piece, Three Ways: Souchaj

August 13, 2017

Sorce:https://tribune.com.pk/story/1479510/one-piece-three-ways-souchaj/

trends fade, style remains eternal and one piece can be put together in many different ways. In this feature we have three fashionistas showing us how to put together an item from a designer’s collection, according to their own individual style and taste!

This emerald green velvet shawl by Souchaj is the perfect statement-making piece for the festive wedding season. The luxurious fabric and the gold thread and bead detailing give the shawl a regal feel and make it versatile enough to style in different ways. Style it with silk separates or pair it with a white shirt to add that glam factor to a simple ensemble,

Aliza Waqar

Photographer and Make-up Artist

I draped this beautiful Souchaj shawl over a crisp white shirt and dark wash jeans as a sari dress. The shawl is so exquisite; I wanted it to stand out even more against the white shirt. I kept my hair straight and added a bold lip. I’d wear this to a destination wedding where I would want to be comfortable yet glamorous!

Jawariya Yasir

Brand Marketing Consultant-The Balm Pakistan

I preferred to wear the shawl traditionally with a short kurti and flared pants from Souchaj’s luxury formal collection to sustain its design and contemporary cut work. The embellishment on the shawl was mesmerising and royal enough so I didn’t opt for any jewellery. I kept the ensemble simple to leave the emphasis on the shawl. I would love to wear this on formal occasions like Eid, a wedding or an evening dholki.

Nosheen Sadiq

Interior Designer

I wore this velvet shawl by Souchaj with a white casual shirt. The baggy sleeves of the shirt gave it a simple and fuss-free look. The simple and elegant look was complimented with no jewellery which was easy to handle. Moving with today’s trend I chose nude lipstick with dark shimmery eyes for a summery evening look. This outfit is perfect for a formal dinner.
